THE KID FROM THE SOUTH BRONX WHO NEVER GAVE UP
“Here is my roadmap for positive change”
There is one thing in this world, one special lesson, one constant that has guided me through the turbulent waters of life, this infinite rule which most people know but ignore or who simply do not follow their life lessons. That is, no matter what, no matter the circumstances, the obstacles, the people who get in our way or things that slow us down, follow this one simple rule, “Never give up on your dreams, never let go of your passions, and especially never give up on yourself or a God of your understanding.
My name is John Giordano and I am a recovering addict, who turned $300 into $45,000,000.
HOW TO BEAT YOUR ADDICTIONS & LIVE A QUAILITY LIFE
Recovering addicts wrote the words on these pages. In this edition, we have added stories of other addicts and alcoholics. We hope that these can help you identify and understand the importance of the information and suggestions in this book.
This information is an accumulation of years of successful continued abstinence from drugs and alcohol. This knowledge was passed down by a number of addicts/alcoholics who have long-term clean time or sobriety and who continually work on their bad character habits. In these pages, you will find some of the excuses addicts use so that they do not have to change.
You will also find the antidote for those excuses, learn how to overcome them, and move forward. Some pages suggest that you do some writing or exercise. Please don’t take these lightly; they definitely help more than you know. Do the work, create the change, and enjoy your recovery.
